Tough Enough To Wear Pink

The Red Bluff Round-Up would like to thank the community for supporting Tough Enough to Wear Pink. During the past 15 years, we have raised more than half a million dollars thanks to your help. One hundred percent of these monies stayed in the community to help fight breast cancer. The Tough Enough to Wear Pink funds provide mammograms, physician care, transportation, chemo treatments, facility upgrades, and follow-up care by the RN Navigator for Tehama County breast cancer patients and their families.

We sincerely thank local Taco Bell owner Jan Sutherland for landing the winning bid on last year’s Let ‘Er Buck Auction Package. We cannot say enough about her willingness to give back to her community. This sizeable auction donation pushed the total monies raised by the Red Bluff Round-Up to more than $600,000 since the program's inception.

With the community's support, St. Elizabeth Community Hospital has made significant advances in providing high-quality health care to our rural county. The hospital is committed to expanding the state-of-the-art services it offers our residents. The 2019 opening of the Oncology and Infusion Center speaks to this commitment. This spectacular local offering provides a warm and welcoming space with modern exam rooms, multiple chemotherapy/immunotherapy chairs, and a highly skilled team to support an on-site Hematologist/Oncologist. As a result, patients no longer have to travel out of the area to receive exceptional cancer care.

This year's Tough Enough to Wear Pink campaign aims to support future oncology needs on an even larger scale. The hospital has its sights on a new high-resolution Mammography Monitor. This modern piece of critical equipment will promote efficient diagnosis and improved patient experience through faster report-return to patients and providers. In addition, a portion of our donation for the next five years will support the future Dignity Health Regional Cancer Center.

"St. Elizabeth Community Hospital Oncology and Infusion Center is honored to support the unique needs of local cancer patients. We work to deliver the most advanced treatments and highly-customized care thanks to the combined efforts of our expert staff and the community’s generosity. With these funds, we can expand and improve our services, including the addition of a high-resolution Mammography Monitor," shared Roger Page, St. Elizabeth Community Hospital President. "The Regional Cancer Center in Redding will expand our comprehensive cancer services in our market and integrate with our oncology services at St. Elizabeth Community Hospital. This facility will provide more critical and complex oncology care to residents throughout the North State.”

Our 2023 "Twice as Nice" Tough Enough to Wear Pink Auction allows bidders to participate in two auctions. The Red Bluff Round-Up Association will offer a VIP Reno Rodeo experience complete with limo service, exclusive event access, resort credit, and more. The Association is also auctioning off a special Tough Enough to Wear Pink Honda Rancher 4x4 with special branded designs, thanks to our talented friends at Zelma’s Awards and Red Bluff Motorsports.

This year’s TETWP Auction takes place during the Sunday performance. It is your chance to bank exciting round-up memories while supporting the local fight against breast cancer.

Each year, we dedicate our Sunday performance as Tough Enough to Wear Pink Day.
